Luca Luciano's new book "Metodo per il Clarinetto Contemporaneo / Introductory Method to Extended Techniques" is out! The book (bilingual, English/Italian) comes with a CD-ROM of clarinet solo music and has beeen published by Musitalia Editor. This work sums up the last fifteen years of research on extended techniques and sound effects which started when Luciano took up his lecturing position in the UK. The method features chapters dedicated to each sound effect plus ten contemporary studies and an appendix with Luciano’s compositions besides a CD with recordings of all the studies and the original pieces.
